OVERVIEW

The Nitto Dura Grappler Highway Terrain is a highway terrain all season tire manufactured for sport utility and light truck vehicles. Nitto offers a 60,000 mile treadwear warranty with this model.

The tire promotes excellent all weather traction thanks to the tread pattern. The tread design features waved sipes that firmly grip the road in dry, wet and winter weather. The waved sipes enhance the tread block rigidity which further ensures the all weather road gripping ability. The wide circumferential grooves actively avoid hydroplaning by channeling water and slush from below the tire footprint. The boosted road grip and hydroplaning resistance guarantees a more secure driving experience.

The special multi-rib tread design and wear oriented compound extend the tread life. The multi-rib pattern links the tread blocks together, which decreases the tread flexing. This allows the tire to evenly spread the driving pressure out across the tread area, preventing irregular wear patterns from forming in the process. The wear oriented tire compound provides a slower tread wear rate, extending the tread life and usability.

The model decreases the road noise heard in the vehicles cabin. It lowers the road noise with the special tread rigidity and the prevention of tread flexing.
