The Pennington Squirrel Resistant Wild Bird Seed Tube Feeder holds 3 pounds of bird feed or bird seed. This tube style wild bird feeder is designed with 6 feeding ports to allow more birds to eat. To keep squirrels from chewing it, this feeder is made of heavy duty chew proof metal ports, top, base and cable. The metal is also powder coated to prevent rust. To remove the base for cleaning simply hold the feeder upright, push the base up, twist the base and pull the base from the tube. When base is removed you can easily clean your feeder! I already have one of these feeders and my birds love it. It is sturdy and holds up well. The many different songbirds seem to have no difficulty getting their seed. Yes, the squirrels are able to raid it, but they generally stay with their own corn log feeders.

I don't know why there's bad reviews on this. But I bought one of these on clearance for $20 and glad I did. It's durable squirrels don't bother it because I have spicy bird seed in it. Plus the perch are big enough for birds to land on it. Definitely buying another one!
