Great product for the price. If you haven't given your "girls" mealworms you might want to give it a try. We have 10 hens that range in ages 2-8 years old. Their coloring is outstanding. They free-range during the day and get mealworms for a snack daily. This greatly enhances not only the quality of their eggs, but the quantity. Even the old girls lay about every-other-day. Their eggshells are nice and hard too, and those yolks? WOW! Nice dark, rich, and of course MUCH tastier than any store-bought eggs.

happy birds especially bluebirds. the larger size is more economical.i store it in the garage where the large birdseed container is.it's easier to sample out the worms in this container after the box is removed.
