This is a great sturdy chair I have sat in it for extended hrs (2 hours) at a bonfire and was comfortable. There is a Velcro strap that you secure when you close it. Just remember that strap is there because I forgot and I was having a hard time opening until I remembered the Velcro strap. It is a great chair and worth the price. Very happy with my purchase.
