To overcome this distance limit, network installers can simply connect a POE extender in line with the Cat-5e or Cat-6 calbe (outdoor type) .With Gigabit POE Extender, PDS (such as IP security cameras, access points wireless devices) can be installed at distances greater than 328.1 ft from each other. By connecting the POE extender for every additional 328.1 ft of cable, both Ethernet and POE can be extended to 656.2 ft, depending on the required PDS power and power supply. Compatible with IEEE802.3af and IEEE802.3at Extend the range of POE and Gigabit Ethernet additional 328.1 ft. No additional power supply is required.
