We got this cot to take on tent camping tripsI like the fact that the cot is long enough for my husband to sleep on. He is fairly tall. I like the nice pad that comes with it and the carrying case is nice. The cot seems sturdy yet not super heavy. This cot should work nicely for camping trips. You can prop up the cot like a reclining lounge chair or just lay flat to sleep.
