PLANTRONICS UC B825-M Headset

I have purchased and tried out more than a dozen headsets over the past year since my office went away from physical telephones and we now make calls on our laptops. I tried ear buds, over the ear, one ear, two ear, with microphone boom or without, wireless and wired, even a new-fangled bone conduction headset...all ranging from cheap sets on Wish.com to more expensive sets on other retail sites, including Walmart.com. Every single one of them had something wrong - whether it was the sound quality, the microphone quality, issues with maintaining connectivity, or being flat-out uncomfortable (often it was a combination of two or three of these.) Needless to say, my co-workers jokingly mock me for my large pile of rejected headsets that have built up in my desk drawer. Finally, I decided to bite the bullet and spend a fair amount more on this Plantronics Voyager Focus Bluetooth Headset...and they are worth every penny! First, the feel...they're like pillows cradling my ears, softly suspended on my head by a soft padded elastic band. Beyond the feel, though, the speaker sound quality on calls is superb (as good as my AirPods) and, based on feedback received from people on my calls, the microphone is superb...and the noise cancellation feature works amazingly well (blocking out sounds in the earphones and for the microphone, too). They connected to my laptop immediately and automatically (just had to pop the little USB transmitter in my laptop port) and when I turn them on for the first time each day and put them on my ears, it informs me the battery level and that it's connected to my computer. Muting/Unmuting is very easy - quick button push. I haven't even tried listening to music with them yet. Wait...one sec (brb)...ok, just tried and the sound is AMAZING! Wow! Even better than when on phone calls! 100% satisfied with this item - have already recommended it to multiple colleagues!
