This quilt is cotton so it doesn't make you get overheated like some polyester ones do. It's not too heavy, but not too light. It's very long so it covers the bed (California king) on all sides including the box spring - perfect if you sleep with a cover stealer.

Great oversized bedspread.

It is very hard to find all cotton bedding in this price range so I was glad to find this comforter. It is equally hard to find king comforters large enough to keep two people covered. This particular comforter does both. It reaches the floor when the bed is made which is something I love. We have a very thick mattress so most comforters only come down 12 to 14 inches but this touches the floor. It is not very thick so I would consider this more of a summer weight bedspread.
