P660R-F1 ADSL2+ ETHERNET COMPACT SERIES ROUTER

I used the Centurylink branded version of this modem for years set in bridge mode so I could control my connection with my own router. When the branded one died I found out Centurylink does not offer this model anymore. Instead they want to sell / lease you a different model that includes wireless, etc and from what I read, is difficult to set into bridge mode. A quick search revealed this slightly different (upgraded) model available from Walmart. When it was delivered it only took a couple of minutes to put the unit into bridge mode and my network and internet were back to working the way I wanted them to. Considering I was able to purchase 2 of these with extended warranty for less than the 1 unit Centurylink offers now, I am a happy customer!
