This Ozark Trail Transom Tie Down can be connected from your boat's transom to the trailer to prevent its movement and possible damage while towing. The straps are rated for a capacity of 1,200 pounds and a working load of 400 pounds. Designed with a webbed weave, these sturdy straps resist rot and the effects of oils, gasoline, and most chemicals. They are easily adjustable with buckles that allow you to extend the straps or tighten them to tie the boat securely onto the trailer, saving you time to get on the water as fast as possible! The corrosion-resistant S-hooks at both ends of the straps are vinyl-coated to prevent scratching the boat and trailer finishes. These straps are 4 feet long and 2 inches wide for use with larger trailer-able boats, but can also be adjusted to fit smaller boats. Rest assured your boat will stay sturdy on its trailer while secured with the Ozark Trail Transom Tie Down.

Beats ratchet straps
Replaced a pair of 1” ratchet straps with these, and they are so much quicker and easier to use. It took a few tries to figure out how tight to pull the strap before latching it, on my boat anyway, it was possible to pull it too tight. You want to just pull enough to take out all the slack, then click the latch shut. Time will tell how they hold up, but they seem well made and should last a while. I've had them off and on my boat a few times now, and they hold it down tight, no complaints.
