Ozark Trail Men's Mid Climb Hiker Boots, Waterproof, Black, Size 10

My husband says these are the best hiking boots he has ever owned. They are true to size, very comfortable, and Has all the support your feet needs. They are also very lightweight and waterproof. His feet were warm and dry after he came home from his morning hike.

I use these in established areas, and trails as well as off the street walking. They offer excellent stability, my feet felt cradled and snug but not tight or pinching. Ample throat opening, tongue lay comfortably. Nice arch support, sole, and midsole give a comfortable step placement and traction. The collar supports my ankle quite well, and there is a lace hook at top throat opening to pull the laces tight. My feet feel good on both long and short treks, important to me as I need that stability when doing bird watching as I'm generally paying attention to what bird I'll catch (camera wise) next and not so much to the terrain right in front of me lol Perfect for walks through the city as well. I've not tried them in the mountain regions yet, but have used them to walk along, on and over small rock walls with great success. NOTE: I wear a women's 7 1/2-8 usually choosing a men's 7 and they fit nicely. I've tried them with both one and two pair of socks (I generally use two when it comes to the Autumn season) and the fit is still very comfortable. Yes, I recommend these for anywhere you've worn a sneaker and needed more support, traction, comfort and foot security-these fit the bill perfectly. Definitely worth having a pair, Happy Hiking!
