This is a very sturdy lounge chair (a little heavier than a regular fold up chair) that is meant to lean back and relax. It's mesh material all through your back %26 butt area helps the air to ventilate you on very hot days. It comes with a stool to kick up your legs. A small child could sit on it with no problem. It has a double layer of bags to carry it all in. It's perfect for any outside occasion. I love that it has extra butt room in that mesh material for yourself or a purse and it even has two cup holders. The light blue fabric is nice. I get compliments on it every time I use it. The only drawback back is if you want to sit up straight you have to put a support system for your back so if you have back problems or want to always sit up straight this isn't for you. I put it against a wall and used the little pillow it comes with and that was my solution to it while I read a book. Best portable lounge chair ever!
