Ozark Trail 500 Lumen LED Camping Lantern – 4 Light Modes, 42-Hour Runtime, Water-Resistant, Gray/Orange

I bought this for an emergency power outage because it was an inexpensive extra light source to have on hand. In the product specs it says it has a 42 hour run time. When I got it home I put in 3 AA Members Mark (Sams Club) batteries turned it on and it's been on the lowest light setting (it has 3 settings) for going on 43 hours now. The light itself is about the size of a red solo 16oz plastic disposable party cup. It is not big at all and it is all plastic so it's not exactly sturdy and almost seems like a cheap toy lantern. And yes installing the batteries like other reviewers said was somewhat difficult but it's just a really tight fit-the batteries won't be moving if you pick it up and move it or carry it around with you. I gave it 5 stars because it is what I was looking for-an extra long run time light for emergencies. I am quite impressed with it and it won't take up much space. It can be easily stored with extra batteries for it to grab if needed. I wouldn't hesitate to buy several and have peace of mind knowing you could have a light source for at least 2 days on 3 AA batteries and keep power banks, portable power stations and generators for more important things around your home. I plan to keep it on and see how long it can go and I will update my review with its final run time.
