Good tent

This tent was everything that we asked for! It was easy to set up. The pockets inside were quite handy, and the screens were nice for looking outside or letting air in. I agree that the electrical outlet hole shouldn't be just a hole; a zipper would be better for keeping bugs out although we didn't really have bugs. The bottom is tarp material, so I didn't see the need for a tarp. We had some ~20mph winds that the tent withstood, although I did think that someone was trying to get inside (it was only the wind). Overall it was exactly what I thought it would be and amazingly cheap.

Fabulous Little Tent

I took a chance and bought this *disposable* tent for archaeological field school because it was the cheapest standard tent I could find. I pretty much lived in it for six weeks at various camp grounds in Kenya--it fared better than some of the expensive tents my colleagues purchased. It survived so well I bought another one when I got home! The thin poles flexed on windy nights without breaking, and the floor survived acacia thorns poking through and kept out the various arthropods (sand peanuts, scorpions, and camel spiders to name a few) that sometimes took refuge underneath the tent when I camped in the same spot for several days. One of our campgrounds flooded with over a foot of water one night, and this survived without tearing and with very little water getting inside when it was uprooted and dragged to higher ground with my stuff inside it! (Okay, okay, someone rescued my big duffle bag before uprooting, and I'd already taken a backpack full of stuff with me when I woke up to evacuate--but still!) This tent was amazing--the perfect size for one person with lots of gear, with enough room to string up a bungee chord to use as a clothesline on the inside. If I'd needed to, I certainly could have removed some of my gear and squeezed two more people in there for refuge. My tent got me through six weeks of daily use. It became my home away from home in otherwise new and unfamiliar landscapes. It was in good enough shape by the end that I donated it to my field school for future use. If you need something you can beat up and leave behind, but is sturdy enough to last you through the duration of your summer adventures, this is a great tent!

Great!!

went camping with my family for the first time ever and decided to purchase this tent to sleep myself my fiancé and our 4 yr old toddler we fit in there perfectly with some room left too move around we were also able to fit in two twin mattresses I was scared it wouldn't hold up thru the rain one of the nights but it did!! Stayed nice and dry and perfect exactly the way we put it . It was easy to install for it being our first time ever putting one up would definitely recommend to first timers or anyone looking for something of a decent size but not too big I was also able to take it down all on my own took about 8 mins total
