Check for Gas OR Electric oven bulb!
The ONLY reason for the 4 star rating is MY fault. I didn't know that there was a difference between 40 watt oven bulbs for GAS or ELECTRIC ovens! I didn't notice a distinction in the search titles for oven bulbs, but I just noticed it on the bulb package. This bulb is for GAS ovens. It is shorter in length than the 40 watt oven bulb for my electric oven. It fits the socket, but is too short for me to hold onto to even try it out. It's probably not safe to try to apply a gas oven bulb to an electric one?? Check the description closely on the website before purchasing.
