Perfect toy for old, tired dogs.

So, my dog is not a "dog toy" dog. I'm sure she was at some point in her very long life. Her previous owners weren't great at keeping up with her dental health, so she's missing a decent amount of teeth. I'm sure these are all factors in why she chooses to lay on plush toys and hates playing with toys that might be harder on her mouth. In comes this gator. I honestly didn't have a clue of whether or not she'd actually play with this toy. I'd laid it next to her when we first received it and squeaked it some -- which always catches her attention -- no dice. I did the same the next day with laying it next to her and squeaking it. The results of the second day are included in the pictures. Yes, all she did was grab it in her mouth and bring it to the sofa, but it was as if my child just took her first steps! We were thrilled to find something that she actually gives attention to. Highly recommend this dog toy!

Adorable and Tough

I foster for an animal rescue so we go through a lot of toys, my most recent foster, Cam really enjoyed playing with this gator. So far he has not been able to rip a hole or pull out any of the squeakers. Both myself and Cam give this toy two thumbs up!

Great Toy! Just not for Super Chewers!

This toy is super big and filled with lots and lots of squeakers all in separate sections. It has a small amount of stuffing in the head and it is long and flat. I have a Yorkie and it is way too big for him, but it is so funny to watch him drag it all over the house. After about 5 minutes, my Super Yorkie started tearing the green fur out trying to get to a squeaker. There was green fur all over the floor. Thank goodness I caught him before he got it out. This is a great toy, as long as you watch your pet, it is just not for the super chewers!
