Outsidepride Rose Mallow Mix - 2000 Seeds

Lavatera trimestris is a lovely annual that gives a stunning summer show. It reaches 36 inches in height and has a bloom season lasting all summer long. Commonly called Rose Mallow, Annual Mallow, or Tree Mallow, this mix has blooms that measure 4 - 5 inches across and are white and shades of rose in color with lighter colored veins. Rose Mallows are highly praised for their exceptional blooms and the beauty they add to the border or garden. Deadhead the spent blooms to encourage a longer bloom time. They are known to self-sow but are not considered to be a nuisance. Start the seed outdoors in the spring after danger of frost has passed. Prepare a seedbed and press 3 – 4 seeds into the soil and cover with 1/16 inch of soil. Space the groups of seed about 20 inches apart. Keep the seed moist. With temperatures between 65 – 80F, germination usually occurs within 20 days.
