The foliage has divided leaves with a strong scent. Perennial Painted Daisies prefer fertile, well drained soil and full sun in the Northern climates or partial shade in the South. If cut back after blooming, they will bloom again in the fall, but the fall blooms may not be as showy as the earlier blooms.
