Outsidepride Aster Pompon Blue Moon Flower Seed - 2000 Seeds

This Pompon Aster is a terrific performer in the summer garden. Callistephus Blue Moon has large 2 - 3 inch blooms that are loaded with petals. Blue Moon has dark and light shades of blue petals centered on a white outer rim of petals. They are very attractive to butterflies, and they make wonderful cut flowers as well. Pompon Asters are quick to establish in a sunny garden, and they prefer moist, well-drained soil. Deadhead the spent blooms to prolong the bloom season. Start the Aster seed indoor 4 weeks before the end of frost season. Cover the seed very thinly with soil, keep the seed moist, and maintain a temperature between 60 - 70F. Germination is usually within 21 days. Transplant outdoors after frost danger has passed and space the plants 9 - 12 inches apart.
