Save Our Bacon
I work for a 24/7 law enforcement agency. Some time ago we had a problem in one of our banks of circuit brakers. A 240 volt cable came loose from its lug and dropped down to make contact with the panel connected to about 15 PC's and 17 printers. As the high voltage surged through the lines our APC PER7T units "gave their lives" to save printers and computers. Instead of the crisis of replacing all that equipment we had only to drop by the store, buy replacement surge protectors and the vital department was up and running within 90 minutes rather than hours. Thanks! APC!
