Hanover Traditions 9-Piece Dining Set in Blue with Extra Large Glass-Top Dining Table

I highly recommend avoiding this patio set for a number of reasons and problems we encountered. 1) The table arrived damaged due to poor packaging that let the glass top come free in the box. The replacement's glass did the same thing but it didn't damage the tabletop frame. 2) One chair had two broken welds that got past inspection. I haven't found any others but even the known breaks are hard to see. 3) I could not get the glass to drop into the tabletop frame on the first table they sent. On the second I had to use a hair dryer to heat one side of the frame to expand it so the glass would drop in. I have my fingers crossed that it'll survive the winter without shattering the glass when the aluminum contracts due to the cold temperature. 4) I cannot get the swivel/rocking chairs to stop squeaking. One makes a horrible scrubbing noise if you turn some while rocking. I've regreased and tightened the bolts as much as I dare but no luck. The plastic sleeve in the base looks under-designed to me and is probably the cause of the scrubbing sound. 5) I do like the lightweight nature of the chairs but they seem way to lightweight to inspire confidence that they will hold up. They are hollow cast aluminum. 6) The legs don't fit well with the frame mounted below the tabletop and most of the sliding feet on the legs are cockeyed since the tapped holes for the feet aren't true. 7) The threads in one tapped hole in the frame struts stripped out. 8) The chairs have three bands welded across to support their thin cushions. You feel those straps more and more the longer you sit in the chair.
