This is the second unit I have owned, and I am happy with it. The first one lasted several years and was very dependable. Battery backups don't last in our neighborhood, so we have to buy them fairly often, I've been told the reason for that is that we have dirty power. We have lots of brown-downs, power spikes, and outages and apparently the more the backup has to work, the shorter its life expectancy is. Anyway, this the brand we always buy because they take the abuse better than other brands.
