Sony ULT FIELD 1 Wireless Waterproof Portable Bluetooth Speaker, Off White

Great speaker and love the sound, especially with the ULT active (really helps with bass). I've noticed some genres of music sound better than others but overall they all sound good to me. Using it to play Movies is not bad, but I think it is better suited for music or podcasts. Battery Life has been pretty good for our use, it does vary depending on the volume level it's set at. From a full charge we've had it last through the night (roughly 8 hours) at a low volume level for ambient sleep music and it still had about 40% charge left. At high volumes I didn't notice distortion and vocals come through clear to my liking. I think this is a great speaker for low to medium volume background music, and for the occasional times you want it loud it does great at that too. Just remember battery life is dependent upon the volume levels. I haven't tested its waterproofness but so far its durability has been good with the kids when they're carrying it around. Nothing too crazy. It mainly sits on a shelf in whatever room it's being used in. Overall a great speaker!

This Sony speaker exceeded my expectations. I mean…Sony! Right!? I expected it to sound good, but exceeded what I was expecting. It's portable and water resistant, so that helps when I go hang at the beach. I like a lot of bass in my speakers and this definitely performs for its size!
