These candles are great! With the wax coating, they appear authentic. The recessed flame isn't visible unless you're looking down into the candle, so you don't get the sense that it's a light bulb. And the flicker setting is random enough to not notice a detectable pattern. We set them on a timer in the evening during these dark winter months, so no need to turn them off before going to bed.
