Keep refrigerated or frozen. Thaw in refrigerator or microwave. Keep raw meat and poultry separate from other foods. Wash working surfaces (including cutting boards), utensils and hands after touching raw meat or poultry. Cook thoroughly. Keep hot foods hot. Refrigerate leftovers immediately or discard. Cooking Directions: Stove: Cook bacon in unheated skillet on medium 8 to 10 min., turning frequently. Oven: Bake bacon at 400F in shallow pan 13 to 15 minutes. (No turning necessary). Microwave: Place 2 bacon slices between paper towels on microwaveable plate; cook on high 1 to 1-1/2 min. (Caution: Plate may be hot.) (Appliances & Desired Crispiness of bacon varies, cooking times are guidelines.) Keep refrigerated. For best quality, purchase and use by date shown. Once opened, use within 7 days.

I have purchased the Oscar Mayer brand of bacon for years over other brands due to the taste. The 22 oz package is a good, priced buy over smaller pkgs. I fry the whole pkg at one time so some can be used at different times for sandwiches, breakfast or dinner.

This bacon has great flavor and cooks up nice and crunchy just like I want it. It's been hard for me to find a good bacon that will crunch up and not be too chewy. If you are looking for chewy, fatty bacon this isn't for you. If you are looking for medium thin, crunchy, crispy, deliciously tasting bacon this is for you!!!!

Best bacon, IMHO!. Versatile for breakfast, BLTs, flavoring for beans, use the rendered fat for fried potatoes, and is the star in green beans as a side dish. For the latter, I'll use 2-3 slices, cutting them into bite size pieces with kitchen shears, cook them in a pan slowly to release the fat and brown. Remove the bacon and place on paper towels to drain. Add a couple cans of green beans, with liquid, season to your liking, and simmer for about 45 minutes to an hour. You can either add the crispy bacon during cooking, or reserve for the time of serving. Enjoy.
