I bought a house that was very clean and relatively new. The inspector didn't find any bug or moisture issues that would attract bugs. Within a few weeks, we encountered one kind of bug. I wish I could say it was an ant, a fly or a ladybug (we'd take all of them over what we have). Instead, we got the worst kind of bug on the face of this planet. A creature so vile I cannot even type out the name... a bug with a disturbing number of legs. We would see maybe 5 or 6 every week near baseboards. The house is kept very clean, we run a dehumidifier, there are no moisture issues and no bushes or trees up against the house. The exterior is sprayed on a regular basis and I still would see some of these awful bugs every now and then. Strong language was used and the bug anxiety was crippling. Out of frustration and disgust, I decided to get this to spray every door threshold and all of the baseboards. It has worked well for us and I am pleased to announce we are winning this war! A heads up, this product is not an instant kill. It takes hours to set into their bodies and paralyze them. You will still see bugs every now and then that may be alive (I keep a vacuum on standby for those.) You will also see bugs on their last leg that can barely move as the product takes affect, and you will see dead bugs. Again, have a vacuum ready to suck them up. If you are squeamish like me when you see a bug, focus on the positives, you're helping thin out the bug population. The sprayer is easier to use than the manual pumps. I find the manual ones stop working after a few uses, but I am halfway through this container of product and this battery operated pump has not let me down.
