It's a battery.

My previous battery died, so I bought this as replacement for my UPS. I installed it, turned the device on, and - voilà! Power backup! I haven't seen it since, so I'm not sure how it's doing, but the self tests do not raise alarms. My assumption is that the battery is doing what a battery is supposed to do. However, APC sent me TWO emails now to review their - wait for it - battery, and the only review that would make sense is a longevity assessment. Well, this battery is absolutely perfect during its first three weeks on duty.

No issues. Easy to replace the current battery. The battery came charged to 75% so the UPS was ready to go as soon as the battery was replaced. Appreciate the return shipping to dispose of the old battery.
