Aquasana Whole House Well Water Filter & Conditioner - WH-WELL-CT-UV

The new whole house well water system has been a major upgrade to our home. We had been using a single inline particle filter since we built the house, seeming to work fine. We started noticing freshly laundered clothes with dirt on them. I removed the tub plate and found it full of sand/mud that had been accumulating for years. Plus, our water is very hard and we have gone through 3 coffee makers in 5 years, along with water spots on everything. So we made the investment in the no salt softener with the whole house filter system including UV and it has been great. Our water hardness has been cut by half, no more residue in pots from boiling water, our overall water pressure has increased because we are trying to run all our water through a small inline filter, and no more dirty clothes. Installation was fairly smooth, given my father-in-law is a retired plumber. The main issue was being overly cautious in tightening the plastic components together, not wanting to over tighten. We added a dump filter before the system to eliminate as much sand as possible before the filtration system. All in all, we are extremely pleased with the performance and are recommending Aquasana to all our friends and family.
