A cheaper alternative to Sharpies

I go through a lot of black sharpies over the course of a year so I generally buy them in bulk when school supplies are on sale in the fall. This year I thought I would take a chance on the cheaper Staples version and so far the quality seems to be on par with the more expensive sharpies. Definitely a better value!

Great Compact Permanent Markers in Red Color

I wasn't expecting much as they were on such a great sale but these TRU RED permanent markers are fantastic. Very light compact and most of all writes well. Now I just opened the box and fiddled around with one so I don't know about longterm prospects. But for now I am really happy!
