Perky-Pet Brown Cedar Deluxe Wild Bird Chalet Feeder - 5 lb Capacity

I am very happy with this feeder. It looks very attractive hanging from our deck, holds a lot of seed, keeps the seed nice and dry, is easy to fill and clean, and attracts a large variety of birds, including finches, titmice, nuthatches, and woodpeckers. The wood is weathering very well, from the original reddish cedar coloring to a pleasant warm beige hue. The only drawback is that the perch is too small to accommodate larger birds like cardinals, but this can also be a plus, as it does deter blue jays and starlings. No worries about any starving birds, however, as the blue jays are very happy to eat from our platform feeder, and the starlings do manage to get some suet from time to time! And the cardinals and doves are happy to clean up seed that falls below the feeder.

This is a large feeder and is built well. The only problem is that it just has a rope hanger. You have to add a "S" hook or something like that to be able to hang it. That will be no problem for me. I think the feeder is very pretty.
