Aqueon ProScraper 3.0™ Adjustable Aquarium Algae Scraper

Great product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I didn't know I needed this until I actually saw it! The ProScraper is AWESOME! I previously would use a dense sponge to scrub down all the sides of our 20gal tank and each time, I would end up with soaked sleeves. This tool not only saved me from getting all wet, but it really cleaned the glass without scratching. Aqueon definitely put a lot of thinking and engineering into this tool because its so easy to use and made with quality materials. The engineering to switch from the plastic scraper, to the metal, and an accessory feeder basket (which I used as a strainer) was super easy with just a quick quarter turn. The telescoping handle stayed in place even with ample pressure. I really liked this tool because it allowed me to get below the rock level line and scrape algae without disturbing the rooting of my live plants. Before I would have to move all the rocks back to really get down there with a sponge, but the scraper kind of just slid in between the glass and rocks with very little disruption. I think my bottom dwellers liked that they weren't completely displaced so less stress on them. Pretty much less stress on all the fish because I wasn't sticking my whole arm in the tank. Definitely recommending this tool to everyone and they even have a longer version for bigger tanks!
