RE: Older Chateau Shower Handle Removal Issue

I have had this shower handle since I moved into my house in 1986 and has held up well. It just started to leak and I wanted to remove it but couldn't figure out how to take it apart .I don't see a cap on the handle to gain access to the stem .Anybody know how to take this apart ?

Tub and shower hardware of 1968- great!

My father built this home in 1968 and I inherited it 3 years ago. We have 2 bathtubs that are fitted with the original Moen hardware. Both have worked perfectly ALL of these years! I have only great reviews to give!!!!

Great Origninal Owner Warranty

Moen's original owner warranty is outstanding!! I have owned my home 13 years and have had three products fail. Replacement parts for all three were sent in a timely manner without question. Customer service reps outstanding also. My daughter has a home with Moen products and she has received the same outstanding service too.
