Great product works just as subscribed takes about 1 minute to spool, I get 1 acre cut much faster than my old trimmer/head! Recommend 100%!!

Great for Stihl weedwacker

This works much better on my Stihl than the piece of garbage that came with it. Stihl should be ashamed. The only thing wrong with this new one is that pushing the sides to get it apart is no easier than on the original Stihl. That means that you have to let out more line more often than you would think to avoid the line wearing out and breaking right at the eye where it comes out. Then you have to take it apart to get it going again just like the original. This is a heavy head. My FS91R handles it just fine, but I'm thinking the 400 is probably a little lighter (and maybe easier to push the sides to get it open?) and might be a good choice too. Anyway....you need to use the green metal piece and also the plastic spacer. BUT... even it you are familiar with these things, you need to watch at least one YOUTUBE video on how to install a SpeedFeed on a Stihl. There are no directions on how to put this on, and that totally understandable as it is more complicated than you would think, and would be different on different models and brands. One hint from me is that the plastic spacer needs to be right side up. You can tell which side is correct by putting it on the next part and seeing which side gently keeps it centered. Good luck, and I repeat.....you really need to watch a video.
