Very Good TV set

I bought this Samsung S90D after my Sony 900F went out on me suddenly. This Oled has better color and a better picture because it should. Easy to operate. Remote is different but I had a Samsung KU-6300 so I know how the remote works. No Surprises there. This was a good buy. Happy I did.

Love TV but no easy channel flashback

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the TV and have had great Samsung tv's over many years. We chose to stay with Samsung because of the ability to flip easily between channels…then there was a software update and the ability to switch back and forth directly was eliminated making Samsung as unwieldy as all the other brands. Would be 5 stars otherwise!

Not my favorite Samsung TV.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is not my favorite Samsung TV. I do not like the startup screen view, to many remote inputs to get to your viewing app. It sometimes turns off when raising or lowering the volume, this just started happening It clicks about 5 to 10 seconds after turning off The loading of apps seems slower than other wifi enabled tv's we have at the same distance from our router Picture and sound are fine but nothing special for the price and category of this TV Do not like how busy the screen is upon turning on.

You can check this by going to: Home > Menu > Settings > Support > Software Update. You may also want to further optimize performance with the self-diagnostic tool, which checks memory, frees up unused cached memory, and closes background apps. Go to: Home > Menu > Settings > Support > Device Care > Start Device Care Abnormal sounds will have different causes depending on where the sound originates from. Is the sound coming from your speakers, or is your TV connected to an external audio device like a soundbar? If so, please make sure that the audio cable is connected to the correct audio output connector on the external device. For antenna or cable connections, check the Signal Information. A low signal level may cause sound distortions. Go to: Menu > Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis > Signal Information If the sound is coming from the back of the TV, the expansion and contraction of the TV's outer casing may cause a popping noise. This does not indicate a product malfunction, and the TV is safe to use. You may also want to run a Sound Test by going to: Menu > Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis > Sound Test Please also note you can choose what your TV does when you turn it on by going to Menu > Settings > All Settings > General & Privacy > Start Screen Option 1) Enabling Start with Smart Hub Home automatically launches Smart Hub when the TV is turned on. Navigate to this option to enable or disable the feature. 2) If Autorun Last App is set to on, the last used app is automatically run when you turn on the TV.
