Lemi Shine Dish Detergent Booster, Gets Rid of Hard Water Spots, 20 oz

I add it to the pre-wash dispenser before starting every wash cycle. It makes a BIG difference! I moved into my bf's last year. There's very hard well water that left a rust looking stain on the interior of the dishwasher. I scrubbed %26 scrubbed. It got lighter, but never went away completely. It just got worse again after running the next "clean" cycle. What was it doing to the things that were supposedly getting washed? The dishwasher had a visible stain, but the contents I was trying to clean did not. I would wash by hand, but it was the same water and I really didn't think that helped any. Tbh, it also really bothered me that my bf hadn't done anything to try and resolve the problem before. I tried the cleaners that you use once a month or so in an empty dishwasher. They helped, a little, because the stain didn't get darker after my scrub. I tried DIY homemade cleaners that I found online, but they were less of an improvement. This problem taunted me. I saw the Lemi Shine in the store and had to try it. From the first time I used it, the stain didn't get darker. Instead, the stain was actually significantly lighter! It was already so much better than my scrubbing! After consistently using for a few weeks, the stain was completely gone. Since then, I use it every single wash. The stain has been gone for almost a year, I feel much more confident about using my dishes AND no more scrubbing! Not even once. That stain was really horrifying. I never experienced something like that. The thought of that kind of a residue being left on the things we use to eat %26 drink. . . SCARY (to put it nicely). It's such a relief every time I open the dishwasher, when it's time to empty, and NO STAIN whatsoever! It's like a friendly reminder that everything inside is also THAT much cleaner. I still feel so much better as I put everything away. My bf thinks I'm being melodramatic. Maybe I was/am. But, not anymore and I couldn't be more thrilled. I hope this helps someone else!

We use this in conjunction with 7th gen or thrive dish detergent. It is AMAZING!! It gets the glasses sparkling and the dishes spotless! We've learned that a little goes a LONG way. It's kind of tricky to pour a little out, but we just started using a plastic spoon to “measure” it. It is pretty pricy for the amount you get, but it lasts pretty long. If you switched to a more “natural” dish detergent, make sure you add this!! You won't regret it.
