You will need: 1 cup water, 3 large eggs, 1/3 cup vegetable oil.Baking Instructions:Step 1. PrepPreheat oven to 350ºF for metal and glass pans. *325ºF for dark or coated pans.Grease sides and bottom of pan(s) and flour lightly. Use baking cups for cupcakes.Step 2. MixBlend cake mix, water, oil and eggs in a large bowl at low speed until moistened (about 30 seconds).Beat at medium speed for 2 minutes.Pour batter in pans and bake immediately.Step 3. BakeBake in center of oven following chart below. *Add 3–5 minutes for dark or coated pans. Cake is done when toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.Cool cakes in pan on wire rack for 15 minutes before removing. Cool completely before frosting.For 2 8-inch pans, bake for 24–29 minutes.For 2 9-inch pans, bake for 23–28 minutes.For a 13 x 9-inch pan, bake for 23–28 minutes.For a Bundt®** pan, bake for 33–36 minutes.For 24 cupcakes, bake for 16–19 minutes.Lower fat recipe: Prepare and bake following the directions above except using 3/4 cup water, 1/3 cup unsweetened applesauce and 3 eggs. I love this cake mix even with "Shrinkflation". The fact it isn't in the store makes me angry. This product is not fragile or breakable. I purchased this item on sale, and found it to be like most other cake mixes that I have purchased. I am satisfied with the results. I put mulberries in one of my cakes -- delicious! I used applesauce in place of the oil in another -- also turned out excellent. I also plan to use a box in a chocolate chip cookie recipe I found online that uses boxed cake mix, butter, milk, nuts, and chocolate chips as the ingredients. I am also going to use a box for peach cobbler next week. French Vanilla is a great base for many many variations.

Duncan Hines is a name brand cake mix, but compared to 2 other name brand cake mixes (not sure I mention the other 2 because they are good cake mixes also) just that Duncan Hines is the most moist cake. Quality is good and the cake mix looks fresh out of the box, easy to follow instructions, there is nothing abnormal of regular use, simplicity is easy even by hand if you don't have a blender to mix with, stirring with wooden spoon vigorously mixes the mix well, and the taste is great!
