Mobil 1 Annual Protection Full Synthetic Motor Oil 0W-20, 5 Quart

I've been a proponent of Amsoil's products for a long time because of their outstanding quality and support of long drain intervals. However, their prices are a bit higher than I'm always willing to jump onboard with. I'm very glad to see that XOM has stepped up to make and support a mainstream product that can run with the specialty synthetics on the market. We put upwards of 20k a year on one of our cars and this really helps cut down on the time needed to maintain the vehicle.

Mobil 1 Annual Protection is an excellent oil for any vehicle in my professional opinion. I've been working on cars for 31 years and only use Mobil 1 products. Over 800,000 miles in 5 vehicles and never seen or experienced any engine oil related failure using Mobil 1 products. Engine was always very clean inside when changing gaskets, etc... All engines burn oil folks, it's a fact! All chemicals have some evaporation loss with age, heat and stress. Just check your oil once a week when you fill up at the station. Stop reading negative reviews. Mobil put a lot of effort testing and manufacturing this oil to perform at the peak of the charts consistently. You won't find better. Mobil also doesn't mention competitor oil companies oil performance in comparison like Company A and V who try to state their oils outperform Mobil 1. Mobil 1 Team are very very meticulous about their products. Mobil 1 doesn't need to compare their products with other oil companies to prove their quality. That's one thing that caught my attention years ago and I stay with Mobil 1. Company A compares their oil to Mobil 1 on the internet but the oil they are using to compare is not API certified, Mobil 1 is certified! Have to pay attention folks. Which oil do you want to use? Non API certified oil will clog your emission system and not be covered under warranty! This API certified oil is designed to maintain consistency and excellent performance over extended time unlike cheaper oils. That's what keeps the engine running like new and reduces wear. Folks writing negative reviews don't understand this. Trust me, if something fails, it won't be because of Mobil 1 oil as long as you practice good oil and filter change intervals set by your car manufacture. Don't read into the negative reviews, this oil is top notch. People neglect their cars and tend to blame the oil company. A hole in an air filter or engine gasket leak will allow debris to enter the engine, cause engine wear and clog the oil filter. You want your engine to last a long time? Then use the best API certified oil you can get your hands on and follow the drain interval set by your car manufacture and your car will probably rot apart before the engine fails. it's not all about the oil, have to keep that engine sealed up too to prevent dirt and dust from entering the engine which contaminates the oil. Contamination causes wear, very fast. Annual Protection is a "Stay in grade oil" that provides the best possible performance in any climate, extreme heat (turbo chargers, direct injection, high performance factory cars), and the best oil you can put into your car. I wouldn't recommend this oil for an engine that has been neglected with oil leaks everywhere, save your money, use a cheaper oil and change the oil more frequently. $10 more for extreme protection, how could you go wrong? You get what you pay for! Ya, it's expensive but, way cheaper than an engine!
