solid shoe that lasts all year and ships fast

My daughter has worn this style of shoe for 4 years. We bought the original in a Stride Rite store. I am not a fan of ordering footwear online: it makes sizing difficult. We ordered up to last the whole school year and could have ordered a half size smaller. This will work well enough. The first three pairs of shoes I have handed down to friends looking like new because we use shoe polish periodically. This is the only black maryjane I have found in an xw to acommodate my daughter's soft orthotics. We placed the order on Aug 16 and the shoes arrived by Aug 31.

They Don't Make Them Like They Used To!

I have always been an avid Stride Rite shopper. So imagine my despair when the stores closed down. Since my own kids were little, some 30+ years ago, I've always felt that Stride Rite Shoes were worth the extra dollars. I ordered these for my granddaughter and after 1 week, this is the picture my daughter sent me. What has happened to the Quality?! Best regards, Deborah Morrison

Girls Brown Mary Jane's

These shoes are a life saver for us who has a 32 year old daughter with Down Syndrome. She wears a girls size 2 1/2 wide shoe. It is very difficult to find age appropriate shoes for her. These shoes are a favorite in black, navy and brown for us as she is out in the community everyday doing volunteer work. These shoes work so nicely aiding her to look her best each day.
