I recommend this part highly. Whirlpool lid was staying locked as wash displaying ted %26 green lites on control panel. I removed stricker lock from lid %26 throughly cleaned. Worked 2 times. I ordered 2 new stricker locks. Installed. Works just like new. Easy to install, maybe 5 minutes. I am age 68 woman %26 was easy for me to install. U wont be disappointed at all. VC
