Great little heater for a small room!

I bought two of these little guys at around fifteen dollars each. They heat two small bedrooms about 10 feet by 10 feet. I keep them lower than they could run, so I am confident this little thing could heat up to a thirteen by thirteen foot room on the highest settings. When I first got them I was a little frustrated with the auto safety feature, but now I appreciate it. In order for this heater to stay on, it has to be sitting on perfectly flat ground because there is a button that depresses when it's sitting that essentially gives it power. If it is bumped or pushed over it stops working right away because the button isn't depressed. So for my children, this is great. It had a strange odor at first, but now that is gone after a few uses. It is no louder than a small fan and can also run as just a fan with no heat which will be nice in the warmer months. Excellent value and would definitely recommend this.

Finally caved and got this heater for under my desk and man does it heat the place up! FAST! I am not sure if its supposed to be a little noisy or somewhat loud but then again I am not in a high traffic area. For the price and the heat that this kicks out I would definitely recommend to anyone who needs a quick dash of heat here and there or consistently throughout their workday.

Helps me save on my electric bill

I ordered these space heaters because I am back on the cold East Coast and my 1st electric bill was through the roof! I ordered the 2-pack so me and my daughter would have one in each of our rooms. These small heaters really put out some heat - my room is about 20x20 and one of these heaters warmed it up in about 30 minutes. When our temps hit below zero, these heaters and electric blankets kept us warm at night with no problems. I am able to check my daily usage of electric online and when I switched from using my central heating unit to these space heaters, I am saving some serious money. For example: on Dec. 3, it cost me $15 when I ran my electric furnace most of the day. On Jan. 1st, my daughter and I was home, ran these small heaters all day and my total electrical usage cost me $3.25 for the day. Ive had no mechanical problems since buying them, they were shipped promptly and the cost was right - about $11 for each heater. I would recommend these units for winter savings.
