Nice backup heating unit.

I bought this because of the propane shortage. I had one and needed a second one to cover more area. These units put out a pretty good amount of heat for their size. They do have a fan which helps disperse the heat, but you can hear it run. So if you want quiet heat do something different. With both units running my propane furnace runs very little which was the goal. Hard to beat for the money and they put out more heat than some other units I have owned.

Garbage stuff from Optimus..1st time in 10yrrs

The over heating protection is garbage(unneeded)especially on a radiating heater since it causes the product to immeduiately shut off once it heats up/keeps going..this product would have been fine with out the saftey controol..Family Dollar charges has the same thing but cheaper made without the over heat control & folks have been using them for yrs..I bought Optimus cuz I have always liked their products & warrenty..
