Its an awesome water fountain! No noise at all. I have 5 kitties. They have never had anything like this so i dont know if they will use it. But they are very inquisitive about it tho so im going to keep my fingers crossed that they will. when you start it up its a little noisy from the pump trying to get the water to go up to the little faucet thing but dont worry itll take a few minutes and then its completely quiet. i love the little blue light too! and it comes with extra filters! and a little cleaning tool! great value for the money!

It's not quite, it's SILENT! I ordered this fountain to replace a rather noisy, messy one that was really upsetting my furbaby. It is so much more than described in the advertisement, it's nourishing peace of mind, literally. There isn't one negative thing about this fountain, my BoBo gives his paw of approval, which makes me give a bow of appreciation.
