I've already recommend this to several people. The service plans range from $6 to $20. it does start off with $20 but I got to changed to $6. but you do have to call to make that change. I got to pick my phone %23 and So far it has worked like a charm.

This really surpassed my expectations in terms of quality, clear communication, and reliability without any static issues. I love that it has a mobile app on the Play Store that lets you receive and answer calls from your cell phone, even when you're away from home, so you'll never miss important calls. Plus, it offers a variety of other helpful features that make using it even better.

Works with Wi-Fi extender!

My fiancés gaming PC setup hogged up the outlets and power strip where my router is located (only working coax line in our apartment is in our bedroom 😒), so I wondered, what if I used a Wi-Fi extender instead of plugging it into the router? I plugged the Ooma into the Wi-Fi extender via the included Ethernet cable, and it took about 5-10 minutes of blinking red light before it turned a solid blue. You can place your Ooma anywhere you want to, as long as you have 3 free outlets (power for the Ooma device, your chosen home phone, as well as your Wi-Fi extender), which you're going to need a power strip for; mine is one of those flat ones, see pic. I tested this with my cell phone and my home phone both held up to my ears, and they both sounded the same on clarity. If you have one of those extended home phones with the headset extensions, I'm sure you can use those with this as well, as I believe the extension headsets only require a regular power outlet and connect to the main home phone (that's plugged into the Ooma) via the built-in antenna, as far as I'm aware. I am going to get a short, pink coiled landline cord, to not only match my home phone, but also help reduce the cluster of cables that I now have on my kitchen counter 😅
