Legrand HT2004WHV1 On-Q Cable Access Kit with LV Brackets, White - Quantity 1

The instructions are terrible but no, you DON'T need an electrical box to install these as they come with drywall anchors. For everyone else like me trying to cipher them out, here they are: 1. The terrible instruction card is your template. That's what you draw around and cut out of your drywall. 2. Unscrew the plate and take it entirely off. Snap the anchors to the cable access straps. Make sure you've got them facing in the right direction (see attached photos). Begin threading in the long screw (don't go all the way just yet). 3. Pop your cable access strap into the hole you cut and now tighten that long screw. As it screws into the back half of the drywall anchor, it'll pop a piece of plastic up like ship's sail that'll anchor against the inside of the drywall. The top of your cable access strap acts as the front anchor. Tighten the screw till it's snug (don't overdo it). 4. Screw your plate back on and you're all set.
