Really like this fountain. It gets enough sun that it stays lit all night. The only downside that I've found is that the lights aren't very bright and doesn't show up very brightly at night!!

I really like the variety of moving water displays it can do. To keep the water in the birdbath though, I can only use a straight up fat flume flow. That's still cool though and is my favorite at night. It usually makes some extra vivid flashes this way because so much water cascading back on the lights creates some extra color flickers. It looks a little like a multi colored flame at night. This works fine in the sun or shade, but doesn't care much for shade trees. I watched the light show last 5 hours before I went to bed while it was still working fine. Realistically, this must have lots of sun if you want it to work at night. This would also be ideal to toss into a SWIMMING POOL! I gave it only 4 stars only because it's not as powerful as some larger ones. However, too much power can spray more water away on windy days.
