Kimchi with a solid 5 Stars? I have tried several brands, NONE is as hood as Ocean's Halo! I It simply has the best flavor and a decent amount of spicy heat. I have only one complaint: it is NOT a source of probiotics! It is heated for making it shelf=stable and heat kills the good bacteria that fermenting brings! This means I have to buy another brand for true fermented kimchi, but I still buy THIS kimchi because it is that good! IGermented kimchi takes some getting used to, and several I have tried are just not very enjoyable, some are just unpleasant! One brand that I like is Nagoya MILD. but I still want Ocean's Halo on my counter because it is just too good to not buy it! Read about probiotics and maybe try Raw Sauerkraut? It is what I now skip to have kimchi. The sauerkraut is just a little less beneficial than kimchi, but has a better mouth feel! But Ocean's Halo is the winner in that department also!

Product arrived with seal broken as if someone had opened it before it was packed. I'd bought it before %26 liked taste %26 the fact that it didn't require refrigeration til it was opened. Still do. Did get refund for defective item but will not buy again because of risk of contamination

It Sauerkraut but not so sour, very hot spiced!
Not what I was expecting! It more like hot spicy sauerkraut, wasn't Napa cabbage. The last brand I bought was much better. But the taste had a sour note not as much as it would of liked and the hot pepper hit fast, canceled of the taste , cabbage was regular cabbage, would have like bigger chunks of vegetable as well. It was finely shredded alright!
