Get the job done like a professional with the Oatey All-Purpose ABS, PVC and CPVC Medium Bodied Clear Cement. Recommended for DWV, potable water, and irrigation applications, this plumbing cement with a medium body has excellent gap-filling properties to provide more working time and is easy to apply with included in-lid dauber. This milky-clear, all-purpose cement can be used to solvent weld all schedules and classes of ABS, PVC and CPVC pipe and fittings up to 6" in diameter with interference fit. It's recommended for applications in temperatures of 40 to 110 degrees Fahrenheit (4 to 43 degrees Celsius). Although the cement appears off-white in the can, it conveniently dries clear when applied in a thin film for professional-like results every time.

If any of the goods are found by Oatey to be defective, such goods will, at Oatey's option, be replaced or repaired at Oatey's cost. I had to replace a sprinkler valve which required only 4 connection. Went to the big box stores and the smallest size they had was 8 ounces. Walmart size is 4 ounce and way cheaper. I make PVC joints about once every year. PVC cement don't last very long.

It works.
Good stuff. Did a great job of sealing the new pipe. Just takes a bit longer to set so it's not an instant fix. Be sure to allow time to set and seal after it's applied, according to the directions.
