Work it baby! Stir well with a butter knife. Why upside down? Oil separation occur naturally. Upside down jar for easy stirring. Store lid side up after opening. May refrigerate after opening or store in cupboard.
Safe Handling Instructions
UPSIDE DOWN JAR: Because NuttZo nut butters do not contain preservatives, stabilizers, palm oils or artificial ingredients, this product is more susceptible to ingredient separation, making the oils appear to have settled on top. This is perfectly normal. Use one beater in a hand-mixer or a butter knife to stab and stir into a creamy butter (this may take patience and some muscles with a knife). Refrigerate or store in cupboard lid-side-up once opened and stirred.

My favorite nut butter!
I love and enjoy this nut butter and for those complaining about too much oil, you should use common sense and pour out the oil that settles on top. Mix it well and don’t put it into the refrigerator bcaz it will get hard. It last up to a week if that long. Adds it on my apples and salad. I wish it was a larger container.
