The Nume Classic Wand is designed for easy and effective styling when used as directed. Follow the steps below for best results and safe operation. Step 1: Prepare Your Hair Start with clean, dry hair. Make sure hair is fully dry before use, as styling wet or damp hair may cause damage. Brush or comb through hair to remove tangles. For added protection, apply a heat protectant product before styling. Step 2: Plug In and Power On Place the wand on a heat-resistant surface. Plug the device into a standard electrical outlet. Turn the wand on and allow it to heat up fully. Always hold the wand by the handle only. Step 3: Section Your Hair Divide hair into small, manageable sections using clips. Smaller sections help create more defined curls and allow heat to distribute evenly. Step 4: Wrap Hair Around the Barrel Take one section of hair and carefully wrap it around the barrel, starting a short distance away from the scalp. It's a nice curler and it gets the job done. The curls don't stay very long but I also have very thick, dark hair so that might be why. One thing to note is that the size that is in the advertised pictures is not the size being sold - the pictures show a 25mm barrel curler but I received a 32mm barrel curler.
