Novogratz Chandler Dining Chairs, Indoor/Outdoor, 4-Pack, French Blue

I wasn't actually expecting all that much from these chairs. I've had chairs similar to this before and they were flimsy and easily broken. Thin legs, cheap materials and I'd get only a season out of them. What a surprise when these Novogratz Poolside Collection stacking chairs showed up a few days ago. The box was sturdy but showed some signs of a tough shipping trip during the holiday season. However, the chairs inside were well protected with foam and bubble wrap and extra cardboard supports around the legs. After unpacking I found the chairs to be in perfect shape. Now to the important stuff. They are well built and incredibly comfortable. The Novogratz Poolside chairs are heavy enough to not blow away but still light enough to move easily from one area to another. The shape, height and fit are are very comfortable and great for everyone that has tried them so far. These Dining Chairs are made for indoor/outdoor use and come with extra foot caps in case one comes off. While they are elegant enough for use around the dining table we are using them more often outside around the fire pit or just sitting on the porch. The corners on these chairs are all rounded with no sharp edges to catch clothing or even slice fingers. They are very well made and designed to stack easily for storage. If I was worried about anything on this collection it would be the (bright white) finish of the Novogratz chairs feels like it is a little porous. I've been very careful so far to not grab or pick up the chairs with dirt or fire pit soot on my hand. But until that happens the collection still gets 5 Stars. Try these. I'm not sure I'd lean back in them either. If your experience with cheap chairs has been anything like mine, you'll be pleased and surprised by the quality of this set.

There are dozens of styles of patio and poolside chairs on sale to pick from on the market, and although these are sturdy and look presentable, for the money they could be better. I felt uncomfortable sitting in them as did my lady, who has back problems and needs a "perfect" chair for indoor/outdoor use. The white looks good. I've seen the yellow version of these chairs and I believe white is a far better choice. Armrests would have been a great addition. But then that would have cost quite a bit more I'm sure. If you're going to spend over $200 on chairs, be sure you're happy with them. I'll keep these, of course, but would be happier had they been more comfortable and had armrests.
